The first thing you need to do is download Adobe Photoshop. The approximate size of the file is 300MB so it is a fair bit of downloading after all. If your Finder sees the file it downloads as an executable image, then it’s a far better bet than a PDF file. Tiled PDFs don’t add much to the overall file size, but they do add very little to the time it takes to open the file on a Mac. On the other hand, dynamic PDFs add huge (and unnecessary) file sizes and huge (and unnecessary) Time Machine backup sizes.

If you need to draw or create a new image, you can use guides to create images in accordance with the basic grid. Sometimes, if the image is roughly filled up, you can add guides wherever guides are needed in order to create the image. On the other hand, if your goal is to fill up the image, you can use guides to fill the entire image. Sometimes it’s best to alter the image in order to make it aesthetically pleasing to the eye. For example, if you want to create a beige background for your art, you can use a beige guide to create your image. Again, guides are one of the best options for when you need the image structured quickly. You can also colorize your digital images, resize them, or enhance them with special effects. In the above examples and probably many more, the options become endless.
