In the past, we only had 256 presets to use for color correction. Now, we can create up to 256 presets, provided you are willing to spend money for the expansion pack. If so, Adobe continues to provide a great set of color balance presets. You can easily create your own as well, which are saved in the image with its name. If you look on Flickr, you can find some beautiful color balance presets. Of course, the Lightroom 5 Presets are very much simulation presets, and not all can be used in the real world. For example, some are not even “set” in the sense, they are simply simulated camera parameters. Therefore, you can’t simply use them in Lightroom.
After the scanning process, Photoshop can create a duplicate layer for each photo scanned. Then you can move, crop, and resize the duplicate layer, just as you did with the original photo. You can also duplicate a layer and change the layer’s composition. This duplication gives you a new layer with the size, orientation, and properties you choose.
